CUSTOMER SUPPORT & MAINTENANCE Trendmak Computers Limited ( TMC ) shall provide the following services: All work under this Agreement shall be carried out to the highest standards by skilled engineers and in conformity with the manufacturer's maintenance documentation. Hardware Maintenance shall be provided a minimum of four times a year based on the specific needs of each unit equipment as determined by TMC 's engineers as well as on any call or service requested. If it is more convenient, TMC will provide interim equipment whilst repairs on your equipment are carried out. This will include diskette drive cleaning, internal component dusting, lubrication, replacement of unserviceable parts and any necessary adjustment. For networked equipment, TMC shall conduct routine signal flow checks as well as repair and/or replacement of defective connectors and components. Software maintenance shall be provided in the form of regular virus scanning, File Allocation Table (FAT) integrity checks as well as file defragmentation. Concurrent data back ups shall be conducted (where feasible) in order to restore normal working order in the case of total unrecoverable hard disk failure or any such related disaster. TMC shall provide regular advice on methods for upgrading existing equipment so as to keep customers up-dated with technological developments and standards. TMC shall respond immediately and on the same business day anywhere within Nairobi and within 24 hours countrywide. |
